Honest with an individual, and very straight forward. Very forthcoming with pertinent issues. As well as great with family. His kindness and advice are useful and relatable in his treatment for everyone. Mr. Tucker is an amazing therapist with patience and dedication.

I truly appreciated the way Mr. Tucker treated my family and I. We always will be profoundly grateful for his time and compromise in our dark moments. Since day one his devotion towards us helped us in understand more our situation and allowed us to find ways to deal with the situation as hand.

Jeff came into our lives in December 2017, during the darkest time in my family’s life. At the time, my oldest son ,16, a was facing court for illegal possession and distribution of drugs. His self- destruction, extreme defiance and deep despair was ripping our family apart.

The courts mandated a period of probation and therapy. We started with a CMO who appointed a therapist, but after a month I knew it was not a good fit and requested another therapist. To further complicate matters, my son’s father took his life. That event caused more drug use and self -imploding behavior.

As a mother, I was drowning. My family was emotionally, physically, and mentally drained. Jeff was introduced to our family within a week and had his hands full. Over the next few weeks/months, my son related with him, and the healing process slowly began. Jeff compassionately demonstrated tough love and during the next several months.

I witnessed a shift, that for me, I thought was unimaginable. Jeff taught my son (and our family) how to identify destructive behaviors and how the traumatic events of our family contributed to the creation of these destructive patterns. He taught my son how to change these behaviors and replace them with positive, healthy, self-affirming ones.

During this journey, Jeff positively influenced every aspect of our lives. My son was able to completely change his life. He is now productive, responsible, and happy. Our family is much more peaceful and is growing and moving in the right direction every day. I attribute this growth to Jeff, who helped us develop an arsenal to deal with the sorrows and joys of life. I never experienced working with a therapist who is so devoted, gifted and committed to changing a person’s life. I am forever grateful! He is a gift!

Being the parent of a child with disabilities can often be a painful and heartbreaking journey, feeling alone and unsupported. By the luck of the draw, we were connected with Jeff Tucker, LCSW, who has been nothing short of a true blessing in our lives. Our son has a rare genetic syndrome that manifests with provocative behavioral issues as well as many other features. He is not trusting of most staff in his world and rarely is honest about his true thoughts and feelings. That is, until Mr. Tucker stepped in.

Mr. Tucker's unique approach, combining professionalism with humor and a keen sense of when to hold back and when to press, has allowed our son to feel safe, comfortable and "heard" without judgment. Feeling safe allows him to express himself so they can work together to problem solve alternative ways of behaving. Our son looks forward to his visits, not even perceiving them as therapy.

We feel so fortunate to have found the appropriate support to help us help our son with the many obstacles we face now and in the future.
